"The Glory of Poodles"

The theme is “The Glory of Poodles”. We must receive all entries no later than January 30, 2006. Winners will be announced on February 30, 2006.

All ages are able to win this contest. We ask that you do put your age on your entry so it can be considering in judgment of entrants.

First prize winner wins a $40 shopping spree at PoodlesGalore.Com.

Second prize winner in each category wins a $25 shopping spree.

By submitting an entry, you agree to the following rules.

What can I win?

There are no age categories.

First place winner wins a $40 shopping spree at PoodlesGalore.Com. The prize is a store coupon worth $40. The entire amount of the coupon must be used during one shopping session. If you use less than the amount of the coupon, the remainder is forfeited. If you spend more than the amount of the coupon, you must pay the amount over the coupon value. Shipping cost is not included. Coupons are valid from February 30, 2006 to May 30, 2006.

Second prize winner in each category wins a $25 shopping spree, with the same conditions as described above.

Only one entry and prize per person.

Who may enter?

The contest is open to U.S. residents only. You do not need to be a prior customer of PoodlesGalore.Com to enter the contest.

What do I send you to enter this contest?

Write a poem and send it to us. The poem must be an original work, created by you between now and January 30, 2006. We must receive your entry no later than January 30, 2006.

The title and content of your poem can be anything you want it to be, but the general thought behind the poem should be "The Glory of Poodles". The style and is up to you, but may not be any longer than 50 words.

Poems will be judged by the staff of PoodlesGalore.Com or a designated literary expert and all decisions are final.

By submitting your entry, you irrevocably grant PoodlesGalore.Com non-exclusive rights to reproduce your poem in any print or electronic media form for the purpose of advertising or promotion of PoodlesGalore.Com, its products or services. You will receive no compensation. You will retain ownership and copyright to the work and may publish it independently. Any publication of the poem by PoodlesGalore.Com will include your full name, city, and state and may include biographical information as supplied by you. A release form must be signed before any prize is granted.

How do I submit my poem?

Send your entry via e-mail to poodlesgalore@comcast.net.

Please provide your full name, mailing address, phone number, and. We encourage you to also send a photo of yourself, but it is not required. We must receive your entry no later than January 30, 2006.

When submitting your entry by e-mail, we will respond to acknowledge receipt. If you don't receive a response, please re-send until you do. E-mail is not always reliable.

How will I know if I won?

Winners will be notified by e-mail or phone and the winning entries will first appear on this page in March 2006.

Additional rules

All prizes are non-transferable and void where prohibited by law. No cash substitution of prizes allowed.

Winners understand and agree that they are responsible for any and all taxes incurred on prizes received.

Employees of PoodlesGalore.Com and their families or households are ineligible to enter or win.
